“Christian worship joyfully ascribes all praise and honor, glory and power to the triune God. In worship the people of God acknowledge God present in the world and in their lives. As they respond to God’s claim and redemptive action in Jesus Christ, believers are transformed and renewed. In worship the faithful offer themselves to God and are equipped for God’s service in the world.”

The Presbyterian Church at Woodbury continues with ascribing all praise and honor, glory, and power to the triune God in our weekly worship, but the Session realizes that we need to adjust our time of worship to better meet the needs of our community.

After prayerful consideration and realizing that the world is at a very different place, the Session has unanimously voted to restructure our Sunday morning schedule. Shifting Sunday morning worship to 10:00 AM, beginning this Fall. We believe that this will be an opportunity for a fuller participation in worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So, on Sunday, September 4th, the service with Communion, we will have the following schedule moving forward:

  • 9:00 AM CHANCEL CHOIR PRACTICE
  • 10:00 AM WORSHIP SERVICE
  • Kid’s Sunday School after Children’s Message
  • Pre-K through Grade 5
  • 11:00 AM COFFEE FELLOWSHIP
  • 11:15 AM ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
  • 12:15 AM CONCLUSION OF ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
