Tuesday was September 1st! Allegedly Fall is upon us and the school schedule begins!!

Alas, this Fall will not be like previous years! It has been a strange and unusual time over the past six months leading up to September 2020. The rhythm of our spring and summer life has been disrupted by coronavirus.

As we move towards the Fall and the typical schedule of Worship, Sunday School, Bible Studies, Task Force meetings, Youth Group, Fellowship time, Rally Day, and all the usual events – the reality is that this Fall will not be typical! Life as part of the body of Christ will be different than previous years, and most likely there will be changes and shifts in how we are community.

This can be frustrating and difficult, but the good news is that Jesus is still Lord! Our world feels turned upside down, but “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

I will be praying for you and your family, as we enter this September knowing that it will be like no other Fall in recent history. Please join us for worship either on FaceBook Live or in person (once the sanctuary is open).

Let me also invite you to read each Sunday’s scripture prior to worship!!
