Right around the corner is Fall, which means start of the school year. I am ready for the cool air and all the beautiful colors Fall brings. We have a busy schedule for the Christian Education area.

We are gearing up for Rally Day on September 9. We are so happy to have Jack Hill’s choir, Choral Arts of Southern Jersey singing for us again. The concert will begin at 11:00 and following the concert please join us for a light lunch in Fellowship Hall.

The following week will start the Sunday school hour for adults and children. For the adults the first fall block class is being led by Milt Fredericks, the class topic is on faith in a storm. This block will be four weeks and the discussion will be about aspects of times in your life and having faith to see through them.

We are also going to be offering a Bible study on Wednesday evenings starting on September 12. Come for a light dinner and discussion about the book The Call by Adam Hamilton. This book is the life and message of the Apostle Paul. This Bible study will last seven weeks. The sign up poster is in the chapel.

We have another great class coming for Fall Block 2 starting on October 28. This class will be led by Judy Platt. This four week class will discuss Hearing and Doing, why and how do we put faith into action?

I can’t believe I am going to say it but before you know it we will be planning our Advent season! I can’t thank my entire group volunteers enough who help in the nursery, beginner’s class and all who plan and teach Sunday school each week. The block scheduling has been working very well so far and has provided great opportunities for both students and teachers alike.

Blessings,
Kristen Franchetti
