Another church school year is approaching! As we are nearing the beginning of September, there are a few reminders that I wanted to share:

A new and exciting time for the school year with Session deciding that the time for Sunday morning worship will be changed to 10:00 AM. The new time begins with Worship Service and Communion on Sunday, September 4th. We believe that this provides an opportunity for more attendance and participation in worship.

Additionally, children’s Sunday School (Pre-K through Grade 5) will take place during the worship service. The children can leave following the children’s message to attend class. The schedule will be as follows and begins on Sunday, September 18th:

• 9:00 AM Chancel Choir Practice
• 10:00 AM Worship Service
• Kids Sunday School after the Children’s Message
• Pre-K through Grade 5
• 11:00 AM Coffee Fellowship
• 11:15 AM Adult Sunday School
• 12:00 PM Conclusion of Adult Sunday School

Now is the time to mark your calendars for Rally Day, which will take place on Sunday, September 11. On Rally Day Sunday, the church will welcome Rev. Dr. Asa Lee to lead our 10:00 am worship service. Dr. Lee is the President of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Following the church service, the congregation can enjoy a church-wide picnic at Red Bank Battlefield Park. The sign-up sheet is in the Chapel. Please sign up so we know how much food to order.
