Since the beginning of Lent, we have started Sunday morning worship with
the following prayer:

I Cannot Do This Alone, O God, early in the morning I cry to you. Help me
to pray and to concentrate my thoughts on you; I cannot do this alone. In me there is darkness, but with you there is light; I am lonely, but you do not leave me; I am feeble in heart, but with you there is help; I am restless, but with you there is peace. In me there is bitterness, but with you there is patience; I do not understand your ways, but you know the way for me…. Restore me to liberty, and enable me to live now That I may answer before you and before men. Lord whatever this day may bring, Your name be praised.
Amen
It is a reminder that even with all our technology, all our money, all our family, and all our talents, we still need Jesus Christ in our life. This is
not an easy idea for us to grasp, but it is the Good News. God wants a
relationship with us through Jesus Christ and was willing to sacrifice His
only son for us.

I hope that you will join us during Holy Week as we are reminded of this
Good News! The Holy Week Schedule can be found by clicking here.

I look forward to worshipping with you during Holy Week!

In Christ,
Phil
